MEIHAPER

Smart Hybrid Electric Microgrids With High Renewable Energy Penetration

The MEIHAPER project, approved in the CYTED Call 2016, is composed by 11 research groups, 8 companies and 162 people from 9 different countries (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Spain, Mexico, Portugal and Venezuela). It is intended to train human resources (HR) with Research and Development capabilities, which promote the acceptance of these technologies for the resolution of real problems. In addition, it is proposed to transfer scientific and technological knowledge to the companies participating in the Consortium with the ultimate goal of generating new industrializable products, related to the SGEH and MEIHAPER, specially adapted to the needs detected in isolated regions of Latin America.
